A discovery course in mathematics which explores the varied relationships of mathematics to society and the natural world through application and enrichment. A study of functions and statistics is a core component of the course. This course satisfies the general education mathematics requirement. It will not count toward a major or minor in mathematics. Prerequisite: MATH088 or equivalent score on ACT or Placement Exam.
